NutriCultures was founded by Mercy K. Edziah, MS, RD, CDCES. Mercy has a diploma in education with over 20 years of experience as an educator which she integrates with her professional experiences in food and nutrition. She graduated from Montclair State University in 2014, and completed a clinical dietetic internship with the Baptist Health Systems. She worked with patients at the Diabetes Education Center of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Mercy’s vision is to improve diversity, inclusion and healthcare equity in diabetes self-management. She is passionate about serving local minority communities and international communities through empowering education and advocacy. She allows cultural sensitivity to guide her interactions with patients in order to ensure that her services are personalized and impactful.
